There's some action in the Habs environment today, as we learned that Rem Pitlick will be submitted to the ballot this afternoon by Kent Hughes.

With the suspension of Josh Anderson and the return of Evgeny Dadonov, Martin St-Louis has put together a new lineup for tomorrow's game against the Detroit Red Wings. However, the least we can say is that the result seems dubious and that it is causing a lot of talk on social networks. St-Louis decided to put the unloved Dadonov in with Sean Monahan and Jonathan Drouin. He also put Mike Hoffman on a three-man roster with Brendan Gallagher and Josh Anderson, who was filling in for Christian Dvorak for the sake of practice, as he was undergoing treatment. Many questioned the decision to leave Juraj Slafkovsky on the fourth line, rather than giving him a chance to showcase himself on one of the team's top three lines. Anderson's two-game suspension could have been a very good test for the first overall pick, who seems to be finding much more consistency in his play. Outside of the top three, which produces the majority of the Habs' scoring, Slafkovsky has been the most productive forward for the CH in recent games, with a total of three goals in five contests. Let's just say that this decision by St-Louis will not be unanimously supported.
