Transaction alert: Former first round pick gets dealt

The Boston Bruins have just completed a deal with the Colorado Avalanche.

The Bruins are trading goaltender Keith Kinkaid to the Avalanche in exchange for forward Shane Bowers.

Shane Bowers, 23, was a first round pick in 2017. He has 14 points in 37 AHL games.

In 20 AHL games, the 33-year-old forward has a 3.10 GAA and a .909 SV%.
