Patrice Bergeron announced his retirement yesterday. As much as we love to hate the Bruins, as much as he gave us a hard time as Canadiens fans, as much as we bitterly regret the selections of Andrei Kostitsyn and Cory Urquhart, who were selected by the Habs before Bergeron in 2003, many hockey fans will acknowledge his superb career and the exceptional man he is. Unfortunately, two Boston radio hosts decided to spoil the day by making disparaging comments about the Quebecer. According to them, he's overrated and has cost the Bruins two Stanley Cups. You'd think the best defensive center in NHL history, who's also on pace for 66 career points per season, wouldn't have to be picked up live on the radio the day he announces his retirement, but fortunately, we have radio hosts for that. - JFresh, who denounces Felger & Mazz's comments It's really disappointing that two of Boston's most popular radio hosts would make such comments, live, on the day the best defensive forward in modern hockey history announced his retirement. We denounce these remarks and wish Patrice a happy retirement, away from clowns who are incapable of appreciating the sport.

It's felger & Mazz. Boston radio legends who are known for shitting over all boston sports. They've been saying for years that bergeron is over-rated because he lost 2 cups and was never the best offensive 2way player in the game. It hurts to listen to them as you'd imagine- Dan Rooney (@_peppeRooney_) July 25, 2023
