The floodgates for the NHL trade deadline has officially opened with the Avalanche amongst the busiest ones after acquiring Sean Walker and performing a blockbuster with the Buffalo Sabres.
Byram traded for Mittelstadt
Huge blockbuster happened between the Buffalo Sabres and the Colorado Avalanche this afternoon seeing pending RFA Casey Mittelstadt get traded to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Bowen Byram heading to the Sabres.
Insane blockbuster to kick off a very busy week!
Bowen Byram has an injury history in Colorado, causing him to never really pan out as the fourth overall pick. Hopefully a change of scenery benefits him!
