Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Jordan Dumais has been reprehanded from his junior team in the QMJHL due to an apparent DUI incident that has happened a few weeks ago.
Halifax Mooseheads suspend Jordan Dumais
It was announced today that QMJHL MVP Jordan Dumais would be suspended for five game from his team the Halifax Mooseheads under the assumption that he committed a criminal offense, which was apparently a DUI. The club issued the following statement: Halifax Mooseheads forward Jordan Dumais violated the QMJHL and the team's code of conduct, and has been suspended five (5) games. Dumais, who is back healthy, will miss the remainder of the regular season and the first game of the playoffs. Since this was an off-ice infraction, the matter was handled internally while the team remained in constant communication with the League. The QMJHL and the Mooseheads demand exemplary behavior from all its players, both on and off the ice. Dumais' suspension began on March 14th, against the Charlottetown Islanders. The team and Dumais will have no further comment.

Hopefully the prospect pulls it together and doesn't see disciplinary action from the NHL club.
