In a surprising turn of events today, it was announced that Brittany Lucic, wife of Milan Lucic has filed for divorce following his arrest a few months ago.
Milan Lucic was arrested for charges of actions against his wife in their home, and has not played an NHL game for the Boston Bruins since.The former Stanley Cup Champion's career is likely, and rightfully over.
This statement was released by New York Post earlier today, detailing the situation:
Milan Lucic and his wife are officially calling it quits, citing «irreconcilable differences» for their divorce, according to TMZ.
The Bruins star's wife, Brittany Lucic, filed documents for the separation on Monday evening, which is five months after the couple was involved in an alleged incident.
The couple tied the knot on July, 19, 2012 and on the papers, according to the court records, Brittany listed their date of separation as Nov. 17, 2023, which is the day before Milan was arrested for allegedly physically ******* his wife during a fight.
