Nikita Zadorov's wife hinted at the defenseman's future with the Vancouver Canucks in a recent Instagram post.
With the way he performed in the playoffs, Nikita Zadorov is in a great position to ask for a significant raise on his next deal. He played a major role for the Canucks against the Nashville Predators and the Edmonton Oilers, with important defensive plays and an eight-point offensive contribution.
As we get closer to July 1st, anything that happens in players' personal lives can be seen as "hints" for their future in the NHL.
Alexandra Zadorova, married to Nikita Zadorov, posted a story on Instagram, with a picture of the city of Vancouver with the following caption:

In addition, his agent Dan Milstein called out a reporter who made a major statement about "traction in contract talks" between the Canucks and his client, which he simply called "fake news":
"Amid Canuck coaching news the last couple of weeks, there has been significant traction in contract talks w UFAs Nikita Zadorov and
Elias Lindholm. Maybe neither re-signs, but it's possible the Canucks could keep both players."
On the market, Zadorov could generate substantial interest from teams around the NHL. He proved that he can be used in any situation and that he can change his game for the playoffs.
