Connor McDavid returns to the ice at Oilers practice

The Edmonton Oilers missed Connor McDavid in their last game due to injury, but now it appears their captain is good to go once more.

Despite fears from their fans that McDavid may miss a significant stretch, their captain has seemingly eased their worries on Friday as he took to the ice once more ahead of Oilers practice.





To the shock of absolutely nobody, McDavid looks fast and ready to go once more, and while there's been no update of his status for Friday's clash with the Arizona Coyotes, he appears on the cusp of a return.



Despite missing some time earlier this season, McDavid has tallied a ridiculous 99 assists this season, and if he gets back on the ice, he'll look to join an exclusive club with triple digit assist numbers on the season. Without their captain, the Oilers blew out the Vegas Golden Knights 5-1, so with a healthy McDavid and a confident Stuart Skinner in net, this team is a genuine threat ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
