The Edmonton Oilers could be without superstar forward Leon Draisaitl for parts of their series against the Vancouver Canucks, head coach Kris Knoblauch revealed today. Draisaitl's health was a bit of a concern in the later parts of game one, as he did not look right on the ice. This, it came as no surprise to many when the Oilers bench boss made the announcement after the team's practice today. Knoblauch confirms that Henrique & Draisaitl are «day-to-day.» #Oilers

The good news for the team is that trade deadline acquisition Adam Henrique was back at practice today as a full participant. Henrique previously missed team practices as well as game one, which the Oilers lost in regulation after blowing a 4-1 lead. Adam Henrique on the ice. Would the team still have blown a three goal lead over the course of 23 minutes of game time? Maybe, maybe not. However, bringing him back into the lineup will be a nice boost, but he certainly won't be replacing Draisaitl's level of offense anytime soon. No Draisaitl today on ice.
