The mission statement this offseason for the Toronto Maple Leafs was to improve their blueline and they've done just that. With NHL free agency kicking off, GM Brad Treliving and the Leafs have already re-signed Timothy Liljegren for 2X$3 million AAV and brought in veteran Chris Tanev to bolster their blue line for $5 million AAV over four years. Now, they've added another piece: Oliver Ekman-Larsson, fresh off a Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers. <q> Unless something changes expect OEL to help bolster the Leafs blueline as well. </q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/DarrenDreger/status/1807784286487031865'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/tsn_sports/status/1807808041053573200'> </a></blockquote></div> After struggling in Vancouver, Ekman-Larsson had a stellar season with the Florida Panthers, scoring 9 goals and 23 assists. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/reporterchris/status/1807807151122829813'> </a></blockquote></div> Oliver Ekman-Larsson will sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ekman-Larsson had a good bounce-back year with Florida, but I still wouldn't have signed him for a long-term deal. Actually, Treliving is doing what he was doing in Calgary. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/ronoanalyst/status/1807788465301381121'> </a></blockquote></div>
