The Toronto Maple Leafs have made some huge additions to their roster, but with the future of several players unclear, they could be readying for a big time move. Under Brad Treliving, the Toronto Maple Leafs roster has undergone some big changes, behind the bench as well with the addition of Craig Berube, but those changes may not yet be done. After captain John Tavares was stripped of the C, questions have been raised about his future in Toronto with free agency approaching in the summer of 2025, and now GM Brad Treliving has alluded to several changes coming to this roster. We'll continue to bang away to see if there's areas we can add and continue to make the group as good as we possibly can.

That may not mean huge additions, but with the likes of Nick Robertson requesting a trade, it makes the most sense, with a shakeup of this roster beyond naming Auston Matthews potentially exactly what they need to find a change in success.

All of this may have to wait until the 2025 NHL trade deadline, but if Treliving can find a trade partner for Robertson and potentially Tavares, we may be looking at a completely different roster soon, and one that could challenge the heavyweights of the Eastern Conference.
