The Seattle Kraken just caused a big surprise today, as the organization just submitted the name of goaltender Chris Driedger to the waivers. Let's recall that he was the Kraken's selection in the expansion draft. He was selected from the Florida Panthers. What is even more surprising is that the organization had immediately given him a three-year contract at $3.5 million per season.
