In the last few hours, the Tampa Bay Lightning organization made a big announcement regarding Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis.

This news even involves another new member of the Tricolore organization, Vincent Lecavalier.

Basically, the club just announced that both former players of the team will officially enter the Lightning Hall of Fame.

A great honor fully deserved for two players who were the face of the franchise for many years.

There will be a big ceremony on March 17 at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay. St-Louis and Lecavalier will already be there, as the Canadiens will face the Lightning the next day.

About 30 alumni from the Lightning organization will be present for the occasion, which is great. It will certainly be an emotional evening.

St-Louis, 47, has accumulated 1,033 points (391 goals) in 1,134 career NHL games, mostly with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Lecavalier, 42, has 949 points (421 goals) in 1,212 career NHL games, mostly with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
