David Pastrnak has been on fire this season and his timing couldn't be better with his upcoming free agency. As one of the top goal scorers in the league, he's sure to receive a lot of interest from teams looking to add a player of his caliber to their roster.

Pastrnak was recently selected for the All-Star Game which is a great accomplishment and a testament to his skill and hard work. Spending time with other top players, including Alex Ovechkin, is a great opportunity for Pastrnak to learn from the best and improve his own game.

Pastrnak took picture with Ovechkin at the All Star game which all fans thought would be a treasured memory for him and a reminder of the success he's achieved so far in his career.

Here is Dominik Hasek's response to Pastrnak's post on Instagram:

It's not uncommon for athletes and celebrities to face criticism for their political beliefs and associations, especially when they're perceived as conflicting with commonly held values in the region where they are popular.

In this case, Ovechkin's perceived support for the Russian government and its actions, including the invasion of Ukraine, is a sensitive issue for many people.

While it's important for individuals to have the freedom to hold their own political views, it's equally important for them to be mindful of how their actions and associations may be perceived by others, especially when they are in the public eye.

In this case, the picture with Pastrnak could be seen as endorsing or condoning Ovechkin's political views, which may not be in line with the values of some fans.
