The new BMP Sports Radio brand, which replaces the Montreal sports channel that was 91.9 Sports, has opened its doors to two new columnists, including former Montreal Canadiens head coach Dominique Ducharme. A true hockey fan and enthusiast, the Quebecer who managed the Canadiens for about a year will be on the air with Martin Lemay as a hockey columnist. He will be invited to comment on the latest NHL activities.

Ironically, the man who replaced Claude Julien after his dismissal will have the chance to collaborate with Julien. The former CH and Boston Bruins coach will also be a columnist on Martin Lemay's show. For hockey fans, they will have the chance to hear the words of two coaches with very different track records. First, Claude Julien has coached teams in the Bettman circuit for 19 seasons and over 1,500 regular season games alone. He guided the Boston Bruins to a Stanley Cup victory in 2011 and a Stanley Cup Final loss in 2012-13. With a record of 23 wins in 83 regular season games between his hiring on February 24, 2021 and his firing on February 9, 2022, Dominique Ducharme will be able to boast of having guided his team to the Stanley Cup Final in July 2021. It was a first for the organization since the 1993 Stanley Cup victory. The two men will have the chance to collaborate on the same show and give their opinions on different situations in the NHL. Listeners will be treated to a whole radio show as we say back home.
