We don't really know much about Kirby Dach other than the fact that he's big, strong and has nice potential. If the third overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft has interesting vision, his shot might be just as interesting. Ironically, Dach has just 19 goals in 152 games in the NHL. Martin St-Louis will have to find a way to exploit this weapon he has, as his shot is powerful but not used enough. In fact, what stands out the most in the constructive comments about Dach is that he doesn't shoot often enough. So the center will have to learn to recognize whether he should shoot or pass in an NHL level game situation. Let's get back to his shot. François Gagnon had a good anecdote to tell us on BPM Sports: « I saw that Kirby Dach, if he can hit shots from the slot with the same power that he hit a tee shot on the five hole yesterday, where he won the longest tee shot contest, there are some guards that are going to go hide behind their net instead of facing the shot. So I'm looking forward to seeing that! - François Gagnon For more details, click here.
