The recent revelation about the players involved in the 2018 Team Canada Junior scandal has spilled a lot of ink. These players include Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames, Cal Foote and Michael McLeod of the New Jersey Devils, and former Ottawa Senator Alex Formenton. By now, they all have reported to the London Police to face charges related to the 2018 scandal. There's a lot of uncertainty surrounding their future in the NHL. While they will face major consequences, an NHL team could also face repercussions for their handling of the situation. <h2>Flyers Tried to Trade Hart Despite Knowing his Involvement in 2018 WJC Scandal</h2> <div align='center' style='padding-top:20px;padding-bottom:20px;'><img src='https://i.marqueur.com/habsetlnh/i/photo/370698.webp' width='100%' border='0' alt='image' loading='lazy' defer /></div> It has come to light that Daniel Briere and the Philadelphia Flyers actively attempted to trade Hart after discovering his involvement in the 2018 scandal. Reports indicate that this summer, the Flyers tried to send Hart to anohter team. <q>There was lots of talk of the Flyers looking to trade Carter Hart this past summer knowing this was eventually coming down.</q> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/andystrickland/status/1750204093623111872'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/jordanbtimpson/status/1752514251858620811'> </a></blockquote></div> At some point, people shouldn't get more protection because they're good at hockey. What's also concerning here is that many people round the NHL knew the guilty players and didn't say anything while they were getting a lot of money to play a sport. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/pharmaziz/status/1750239172512874576'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/andrewacoates/status/1750279737443074378'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/Evan_Adkins08/status/1750204378584125478'> </a></blockquote></div> The NHL's response, as well as the teams' and insiders' proved that the league doesn't understand how to deal with modern issues. Do you think the NHL and the Flyers should apologize for their bad handling of the scandal?
