RDS Montreal Canadiens game analyst Marc Denis revealed the Carolina Hurricanes organization's plan for the trade deadline. According to what he reported on today's episode of <i>On Jase</i> on RDS, team GM Don Waddell would be interested in acquiring a top-9 center in an effort to replace Jesperi Kotkaniemi on the second line in the coming days. Even though the Finn is on a good five point streak in six games, he doesn't seem to be Waddell's go-to guy on the top-6 for the playoffs. According to Denis, he could even be moved to the third line with Jordan Staal, or he could slide to the fourth line if the GM is able to make the desired acquisitions. Admittedly, Carolina's offense is quite impressive, but it's still surprising that a player who commands a salary of $4.82 million isn't even trusted by management on the team's top two lines. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/RDThockey/status/1626316340691628038?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1626316340691628038%7Ctwgr%5Ef6e002e663f413674e26633a862d6f67e772b07d%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rumeursdetransaction.com%2FMarc-Denis-lance-une-bombe-concernant-avenir-de-Jesperi-Kotkaniemi-en-Caroline-209552'> </a></blockquote></div> Credit: <a href='https://www.rumeursdetransaction.com/equipe-lnh/canadiens-de-montreal/Marc-Denis-lance-une-bombe-concernant-avenir-de-Jesperi-Kotkaniemi-en-Caroline' class='link_marker' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Rumorsdetransaction.com</a>
