It's been all over the hockey world. Darryl Sutter has drawn the attention of many hockey fans, for his disrespectful comments towards Jakob Pelletier after his first game in the NHL. In an interview with the Journal de Québec on Sunday, Pelletier agreed to comment on the situation. First of all, the rookie said he was not bothered by Sutter's comments. Pelletier also said that Sutter spoke to him on Sunday morning to tell him that he had played a good game. I saw him this morning [Sutter] and he told me I played a good game and that it was too bad we were down so many times because it cost me ice time. He told me he liked what I brought despite my playing time. - Jakob Pelletier

Jakob mentioned afterwards that his confidence was not shaken by those words and that the most important thing is that he knows he can play at the NHL level.
