Vrana has been one of Detroit's top forwards ever since he joined the organisation and was recently let go from the NHLPA's Player Assistance Program. The 28-year-old was a crucial piece in the 2018 Washington Capitals Cup squad and would be a fantastic addition to any squad. His $5.25-million annual cap-hit is high, but fair for a player of his calibre. It is now obvious that there is animosity between the two sides.
