In the last few days, we mentioned that the Tampa Bay Lightning's new acquisition, Tanner Jeannot, had injured his leg and that his case was very doubtful to play the first round of the playoffs against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Jon Cooper had even described the possibility of Jeannot missing the series against Toronto as a high level of concern. However, a major turnaround has just occurred for the Lightning, as he was on the ice today, and with his teammates, no less. All indications are that Jeannot will not miss the entire first round of the playoffs, but that he may miss a single game. Wow! This is great news for Cooper's team who will undoubtedly benefit from a big, physical guy who plays hard and can score goals like Jeannot.
