As the NHL trade deadline approaches, teams are trying to finalize their shopping lists for the end of the season.

Given that the Habs are sellers, it's not surprising to see a number of scouts scouting for certain players. One thing is certain, it starts to stir in the offices of different teams in the league.

There was also a surprise, but very interesting visit during this game, as the former general manager of the Tricolore and now special advisor for the Los Angeles Kings, Marc Bergevin, was on hand.

"Marc Bergevin is in Newark and attending the Devils-Canadiens game tonight." - Renaud Lavoie

It must be special for Bergevin to spy on the CH (and the Devils), but that's his specific mandate tonight.

Taking into account that his Kings are "buyer" and the CH is "seller", unlike the Devils, suspicions indicate that he is possibly coming to see his former club.

Now, one can only hope that the good performances of most of the Habs players, including Mike Hoffman, Evgenii Dadonov and even a Josh Anderson, may have turned some teams on.
