The 2018 World Juniors scandal involving Team Canada has been one of the NHL's biggest stories in recent years, and now Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald has commented on the situation for the first time.

Tom Fitzgerald reveals how much knowledge they had of the situation

Given that there was a whole team at the event, it would have been tough for any GM to know exactly which players were involved, but this certainly isn't a good look for the league.

Now, the players will face criminal charges in court as they have elected for a trial by jury, and we will continue to update this story as it develops as it will dominate NHL headlines for quite sometime to come.
