In a race for the puck in the corner, Lindgren got severely injured by Alexander Romanov, who scored a goal while Lindgren was down.

Here's what went down:

The Rangers were back on the ice last night and Lindgren was in the lineup.

He showed up with a complete visor, a black eye and a few stitches.

Lindgren played well in the Rangers' 3-1 win over the Stars, tallying an assist on Adam Fox's goal.

This serves as yet another testament to the resilience and toughness inherent in hockey players.
