Being in a massive city like Toronto, things are bound to be expensive, but now it's been revealed just how bad things are for fans looking to catch Toronto Maple Leafs games.

How is this possible?

In a recent US Betting Report study that uses Fan Cost Index, measuring ticket prices, two small beers, four small soft drinks, four hot dogs, parking for one hour, two game programs, and two cheap adult-size hats, some shocking statistics have been revealed.

Namely, but yet unsurprisingly, the Toronto Maple Leafs clock in with the leagues most expensive pricing, with all that coming in at $697.75, just ahead of the Kraken, Golden Knights, Rangers and Blackhawks who round out the top-five.

Tough pill to swallow

While most fans attending games won't be looking to get all of those things, making it somewhat cheaper, this will no doubt be discouraging to families who want to take in a Maple Leafs game.

On the cheaper end of the scale are teams like Florida, Arizona and Calgary, who average just over $315 in the same study, and while it makes sense due to the size of their cities, it doesn't make it an easier pill to swallow for Maple Leafs fans.
