Jesse Pollock of TSN has made an outlandish mock trade sending Toronto Maple Leafs star Mitch Marner to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Erik Karlsson and more.

The controversial TSN personality is no stranger to saying outlandish things to make sure he gets interactions, but this one has to be near the very top.

Pollock's mock trade sends Mitch Marner to Pittsburgh for Erik Karlsson, Michael Bunting, and a draft pick. While Toronto brings in an experienced two-way defenseman who can quarterback their first power play unit, they receive known pest and former Leaf Michael Bunting back too.
Should Brad Treliving make a trade like this, it would almost certainly have to include either Pittsburgh's 2024 second-round pick which is slated to be 44th overall or Pittsburgh's 2025 first-round pick.
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their displeasure with this trade proposal and to bash Pollock's hockey knowledge.
Jesse Pollock's continued obsession with the Toronto Maple Leafs is spilling into his day-to-day life. Some fans even call him a closet Maple Leafs fan.
Pollock doesn't help his public perception by making these absolutely absurd trade proposals either. He will have to sit down and watch a few games and determine the value most players have by watching the games and simply not pulling a rabbit out of a hat and hoping it works.
