This veteran NHL defenseman is set to hit free agency this offseason, and he has already declared where he wants to sign if they would have interest in doing a deal.

Brendan Dillon Says He Would Love to Sign With the Vancouver Canucks

Brendan Dillon, if he doesn't sign an extension with the Winnipeg Jets, will be one of the more coveted free agents this offseason. The big left-handed defenseman has put up great numbers for the Winnipeg Jets this year.

Now, he has made it known that if he had the choice, he would love to sign with the Vancouver Canucks.

Dhaliwal saying Surrey native Brendan Dillion could be a UFA this summer.

He's told Dillion would love to sign with the Canucks.

Dhaliwal believes the Canucks have liked this player in the past.

Dillon is from Surrey, British Columbia, just outside of Vancouver, and with their recent success this regular season, it makes sense that he would want to return while the Canucks are on the ups.

Canucks Worried About Signing Pettersson Right Now

The Canucks have bigger fish to fry in their own team, right now, as they continue to try and get a long extension done with Elias Pettersson. Speculation has been swirling that the Canucks and Pettersson are getting close, however, no deal has been able to cross the finish line.

We will see how this plays out as the trade deadline approaches, and if they do move Pettersson.
