The Toronto Maple Leafs may have one more move to make this off-season, and now Noel Accari has been identified as a target from the Pittsburgh Penguins. After beefing up their defensive stocks this off-season, many are expecting the Toronto Maple Leafs to make another big move up front before training camp, with several potential targets revealed. Now, in a brand new trade proposal, they land one of those targets in veteran Noel Acciari, while also finally trading Nick Robertson, who remains unhappy with his current role in the lineup.

In the deal, Pittsburgh land veteran David Kampf, alongside Robertson and a third-round pick in 2027, while Toronto will get Acciari alongside a fourth-round pick in the same year.

On paper, this one helps both teams, as Toronto get the perfect player to fill their 3C role if they indeed decide to play John Tavares as the 2C in 2024/25, while Pittsburgh get a player that can potentially help them now and in the future with Robertson. It's unclear exactly who Brad Treliving's top target is after he teased a recent move, but if they want a solid piece that helps them in 2024/25, they could do a lot worse than Acciari, who played his role perfectly last season with Pittsburgh.
