Ryan Reaves mocks Matthew Tkachuk after altercation in scrum

The Toronto Maple Leafs' enforcer Ryan Reaves mocked Matthew Tkachuk after an altercation in a scrum during Monday night's Atlantic Division clash against the Florida Panthers.

Before the game even started, we already knew this was going to be a tough, physical game for both teams.

In his comments ahead of the duel, Reaves mentioned that the intensity would be high, as both teams could meet in the playoffs, a few weeks from now.




And, as expected, it didn't disappoint.

A few minutes into the second period, a scrum emerged involving almost all players on the ice, including Ryan Reaves and Matthew Tkachuk.

Both players talked for a few seconds while a referee was trying to get between them. When they were finally seperated, Reaves continued to taunt him by waiving his hands in the air like he was scared of him.

The Leafs could clinch their playoff spot tonight as they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
