An interesting trade proposal has been raised between the Habs and the Wild involving Sean Monahan

If his return to the game is made in the next few days, Sean Monahan's name could come up in trade discussions, as the 29-year-old veteran is certainly an interesting catch for a team looking to make a playoff run.

With Monahan finally back on the ice and his contract set to expire at the end of the season, the excellent PM Perron has raised a concrete trade proposal involving the Montreal Canadiens and the Minnesota Wild.

One thing is for sure, the Wild will be among the buyers and the organization absolutely needs to get a center to finish the season strong.

This is actually a proposal that reporter Marc Antoine Godin of The Athletic liked.

Faber, 20, is a 6-foot, 195-pound right-handed defenseman. He was drafted 45th overall in 2020 and has 20 points in 30 games this NCAA season. He was acquired in the trade that sent Kevin Fiala to Los Angeles last summer.
