The trade deadline is fast approaching and even though we are less than three weeks away from this pivotal moment in the season, it is still very difficult to predict what moves the Habs will make between now and then. If last year we had a good idea that Ben Chiarot, Tyler Toffoli and Brett Kulak would jump ship, this year it's a lot harder to make a guess. Injuries to Joel Edmundson and Sean Monahan don't help the situation either. In short, if one thing is certain, it is that Kent Hughes and the CH will be sellers again this year. It should be noted, however, that all indications are that Puljujarvi will be sent to the waivers in the next few hours or days, with Kailer Yamamoto's imminent return to the game. So, there is a certain possibility that he will end up in Montreal, especially since the Tricolore has already shown interest in the Finn in the last few months. However, even if we learned in the last few days that Kravtsov has requested a trade to his general manager Chris Drury in New York, I would be surprised if Hughes pays the price to acquire Kravtsov.
