We now know the trio of coaches that will take over behind the bench in Vancouver tomorrow after the terrible treatment of the current head coach Bruce Boudreau. Although everyone was already aware of Rick Tocchet's situation, we now know that Sergei Gonchar and Adam Foote will accompany Tocchet behind the bench.

Given that Foote's long and successful career which brought two Stanley Cups to Colorado he will be a tremendous addition on the defensive end. Gonchar offers a mature European presence to the club that will be beneficial given that it is largely made up of Swedes and Russians. Last but not least, the strong bond that already exists between Tocchet and management will contribute to reducing the elevated tensions in the space. We'll see if this new group succeeds in Vancouver, hopefully management will treat them better than they treated Boudreau.
